Apprentice Director of Music and Children’s Minister
Be part of our unique Praise! project, helping to grow our embryonic Junior Choir.
Enthusiastic musician sought to assist in all aspects of planning, evening worship and choir training.
The successful applicant will be a competent keyboard player and will have some experience in at least two of the following areas:
· organ playing
· choir directing
· choral singing
· ministry (e.g. leading family services)
· teaching
and be willing to develop in all five areas.
The apprentice will have self-employed status and be contracted to assist with the Praise! project: Junior Choir and Choral Evensong weekly during school term time, Sundays 3.30pm – 6.30pm. Opportunities to deputise at the morning and other services will be available. Training will be provided as appropriate.
Remuneration at RSCM rates according to experience. Contract for 1 year initially, subject to continued funding.
